About
Maryam Al-Tajer holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Master of Fine Arts in Design, both with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her work explores human introspection, examining the contrast between outward identity and inner emotion. Through abstract Arabic calligraphy and her experimentation with different mediums, she creates contemplative pieces that invite reflection on memory, emotion, and the self. Blending her design background with her artistic vision, she often adopts a cross-disciplinary approach that merges form and meaning. Maryam has exhibited across the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S., collaborated with high-end brands, and continues to expand her creative practice.
